David is a highly qualified physiotherapist who also has a PhD in Exercise Physiology. This allows him to implement the latest evidence-based therapeutic techniques. With over 25 years experience, David is the principal Physiotherapist at Absolute Physiotherapy. During this time he helped establish the Health Care Team at The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in 2001 and has consulted to Circus Oz since 2003. In 2004 David was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to investigate the role of physiotherapy in Circus Arts.

Penny graduated from Latrobe University in 2004 and completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2011. She has been consulting at Absolute Physiotherapy for over 10 years. Penny specialises in dancers and dance injuries.
Penny's approach to treatment combines hands on manual therapy together with individually tailored rehabilitation programs. She has a keen interest in treating headaches, shoulder dysfunction, overuse injuries, tendon pathologies and using dry needling. She also has extensive experience in treating dancers and gymnasts, and has worked with performers from Priscilla, Chicago, Fame and Rock of Ages. Penny is also currently working with teams from the Australian Paralympic Squad.
Clinical Pilates Instructor
Joanna graduated from Otago University in NZ with a keen interest to work with athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds. Since moving to Australia, she has developed an interest in pelvic and hip pathologies and has enjoyed and practiced as a Clinical Pilates instructor for the past three years.

Ben has been working as a Personal Trainer for over eight years and in this time he has gained experience in strength training, mobility and rehabilitation, manual therapy, customer service, communication skills and client’s overall health management.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science, (Anatomy and Physiology Major) from La Trobe University in 2014, Ben completed a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2016. Ben’s unique background in martial arts and personal training has enabled him to combine skills in strength training and Physiotherapy to deliver the best possible outcome for his clients and patients using a personalized and functional approach to rehabilitation.

Lynn is a former professional dancer from Sydney,who also studied voice before retraining in physiotherapy. She holds degrees in Creative Arts (Macquarie University), Exercise Science (University of Wollongong) and Physiotherapy (University of Melbourne), and previously tutored undergraduate anatomy, physiology and biomechanics at the University of Wollongong. Lynn also completed courses in clinical pilates with Dance Medicine Australia, and Vocal Physiotherapy techniques for singers, actors, and other professional voice users.
Lynn has a special interest in sport and performing arts physiotherapy (including dancers, vocalists, musicians, circus performers and gymnasts) and has worked with Gymnastics Australia, Gymnastics Victoria and Underwater Hockey Australia. She is available for pre-pointe assessment and dance-specific rehabilitation, and also works as Dance Science co-ordinator for the Glenn Wood Tap teacher's syllabus.

Currently a Myotherapist with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Patrick loves what he does, and has a mission to prevent and rehabilitate injury, maintain perfect posture and put a smile on each clients face. Working with elite athletes to office workers, Patrick sees a variety of clients. He has treated athletes at NICA, MSAC (Basketball) and at the AFL Draft camps.
Interests as a Myotherapist include neurodynamics, pain, fascia and injury prevention. Patrick includes dry needling and cupping in his treatments when appropriate.
As fitness fanatic who loves running, Patrick is also a Senior AFL Boundary Umpire and is very good at running backwards!
