David is a highly qualified physiotherapist who also has a PhD in Exercise Physiology. This allows him to implement the latest evidence-based therapeutic techniques. With over 25 years experience, David is the principal Physiotherapist at Absolute Physiotherapy. During this time he helped establish the Health Care Team at The National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) in 2001 and has consulted to Circus Oz since 2003. In 2004 David was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship to investigate the role of physiotherapy in Circus Arts.

Penny graduated from Latrobe University in 2004 and completed her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2011. She has been consulting at Absolute Physiotherapy for over 10 years. Penny specialises in dancers and dance injuries.
Penny's approach to treatment combines hands on manual therapy together with individually tailored rehabilitation programs. She has a keen interest in treating headaches, shoulder dysfunction, overuse injuries, tendon pathologies and using dry needling. She also has extensive experience in treating dancers and gymnasts, and has worked with performers from Priscilla, Chicago, Fame and Rock of Ages. Penny is also currently working with teams from the Australian Paralympic Squad.
Clinical Pilates Instructor
Joanna graduated from Otago University in NZ with a keen interest to work with athletes from a variety of sporting backgrounds. Since moving to Australia, she has developed an interest in pelvic and hip pathologies and has enjoyed and practiced as a Clinical Pilates instructor for the past three years.

Ben has been working as a Personal Trainer for over eight years and in this time he has gained experience in strength training, mobility and rehabilitation, manual therapy, customer service, communication skills and client’s overall health management.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science, (Anatomy and Physiology Major) from La Trobe University in 2014, Ben completed a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2016. Ben’s unique background in martial arts and personal training has enabled him to combine skills in strength training and Physiotherapy to deliver the best possible outcome for his clients and patients using a personalized and functional approach to rehabilitation.

Casey has been working in the Myotherapy industry for nearly 11 years. After studying remedial massage in Perth during 2008, she followed her passion and graduated in Myotherapy from RMIT in 2012.
In 2017 she worked in Brisbane with musicians, ballet dancers and actors. Casey has worked with tennis players, cycling events, rowing clubs, ultra-marathon events, triathlon events, medical crews, firefighting events and a wide range of sporting clubs. She enjoys helping people to reach their goals.
Casey loves a challenge and in 2016 she won Ironman WA and was the first para triathlete to complete the distance in Australia.
Well known for having some of the best hands in the business, Casey is a highly sort after and gifted Myotherapist.
