Kate graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994 and has wide-ranging musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience in both the public and private sectors.
Her work in public outpatients has imbued her with a broad knowledge of upper and lower limb fracture management, rehabilitation post tendon and ligament repairs, and tendinopathy recovery programs.
Evidence-based practice is a driving force in her physio practice and is solidified by her work as a clinical supervisor of physiotherapy students from both the University of Melbourne and Charles Sturt University.
In private practice, Kate uses her extensive clinical skills in pilates, massage, and joint mobilisation combined with tailored exercise programs to manage general musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
With a background in Dance, Kate has a particular interest on foot and ankle pathology and rehabilitation of the dancing athlete. She is experienced with pre-pointe assessment, posture analysis, and technique correction.
